I went to all sorts of lengths to make sure I was producing milk, but he just had a poor suck. I made the decision to give him pumped milk and then supplement with formula as needed, and while it was the BEST decision for our family (APPARENTLY he'd been such a high maintenance baby because he was so hungry! Once he was fed, he was happy, which made EVERYONE happy!) I felt so guilty that I couldn't make him gain weight naturally. It's ridiculous how much pressure we put on ourselves sometimes - your child's "failure to thrive" certainly doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong! But I'm so very sorry that it sometimes feels that way :(Kennerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18256427876312684585noreply@blogger.com
